New tyres

Yesterday was the day i finally needed new tyres, four of them. I went for Michelin Energy E3A. Not the connosieur's tyre i prefer but not the cheapest tyre on the market either. I worry about buying cheap tyres. Will the last thought in my mind as i skid off a cliff be "at least i saved forty quid on these tyres" According to Michelin this type will not only last longer, it will make my car use less petrol too. And both of these features are highly desirable at the moment. I'm on a decent wage but i can't seen to live within my means.
